David Collins came to know Jesus Christ as his personal savior while a senior at Webb Institute of Naval Architecture through a ministry of the Chapel, a coffee house, "The One Way Inn". He was baptized and entered into fellowship at the Chapel later that year. After graduating from Webb with a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, David worked as a Naval Architect in NY City for several years.   As a growing Christian he felt a need to understand the Word of God, and so attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Ill.  At first the intention was to go for one year only, but as the Lord leads, he continued on to a Masters of Divinity. Upon graduation, the elders at the Chapel asked him to consider serving the Lord at Sea Cliff, where he has been faithfully serving his Lord, together with his wife Meryl, since 1978.
